Altyn Asyr FC from Ashgabat won the Ashgabat Football Cup. The eight-time reigning champion of Turkmenistan achieved this result by defeating Ashgabat FC 2:0 in the final.

The game took place at the stadium in Byuzmeyinsky etrap of the capital city.

46-year-old Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Yazkuli Hojageldyev led the team of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency to victory in the Ashgabat Cup.

Kopetdag FC beat the Ahal youth team 3:1 in the 3rd place match.

4 teams competed for the Ashgabat Cup that became a good test of strength for its winner Altyn Asyr FC on the eve of the 2022 AFC Cup Group Stage, which will start in Dushanbe on June 24.
