At the initiative of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Nyyazow, an informatics olympiad was held among 11th–12th grade students of secondary schools. The olympiad consisted of three stages, with students from five provinces participating.

A student of our “Olimp” secondary sports school, Imammuhammet Purmyradow, successfully performed at the district and city stages, then participated in the state stage held on February 5 and achieved an honorable 3rd place.

The participation of our school students in such olympiads is a vivid result of the tireless care of esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for the younger generation. It also reflects the consistent reforms implemented in the science and education system and the constant attention given to raising well-rounded, intellectually and spiritually developed, and patriotic youth. These achievements are among the first concrete outcomes achieved in the International Year of Peace and Trust.
