On April 2, 2025, a training seminar was held at the Water Sports Complex of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat.
The representative of the World Aquatics organization, James Gibson, and the American specialist, Genadius Sokolovas, shared their experience with Turkmen specialists on swimming training.
The purpose of the seminar, organized with the participation of representatives from the World Aquatics organization, was to enhance the professional skills of coaches and athletes working in specialized educational and sports institutions of Turkmenistan.
As noted in the speeches, all necessary conditions have been created in Turkmenistan for the stable development of water sports. This, in turn, contributes to athletes achieving high results and to the professional development of coaches.
