Turkmen club Arkadag defeated Kuwaiti side Al-Arabi in the second leg of the AFC Challenge League semifinal.
The match took place at the stadium in the city of Arkadag and ended with a 3–0 victory for the home team. Shannazar Tirkişov scored a brace (in the 7th and 90+4th minutes), while the third goal came from Altymurad Annadurdyev (58th minute).
In the first leg, held on April 9 in Kuwait City, Vladimir Bayramov’s team lost 0–2. With an aggregate score, Arkadag advanced to the AFC Challenge League final.
The final will be held on May 10. Arkadag’s opponent will be determined on April 17 in the match between Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng (Cambodia) and Madura United (Indonesia).
