Turkmenistan secured their second consecutive victory after defeating Thailand 3-1 in their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group D. The game took place in the central arena of the Ashgabat multi-purpose stadium.

Among the winners, goals were scored by Mikhail Titov (1st minute), Yhlas Saparmammedov (37th) and Mekan Saparov (66th). Supachai Chaided scored for the losers (35th).

The victory over the Thai national team was the first under the leadership of the new head coach of the national team of Turkmenistan Rovshan Meredov.
