The Turkmenistan Handball Championship for boys and girls born in 2010 and younger was held at the sports complex of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Teams from various regions of the country and Ashgabat participated in the competition.

The team from the 9th Sports School of the Ashgabat Main Department of Physical Culture and Sports took first place among the girls. Alina Yakubova, Victoria Ershenko, Selbi Mollaeva and Maria Baranova distinguished themselves among the winning team. Coach Gulendam Narbaeva led the winning team to this success. The team from Mary region took second place, and the team from Balkan region took third.

The team from the Balkan region won first place among the boys. Handball players from Lebap region took second place, while Ashgabat representatives rounded out the top three. Young handball players Bahtiyar Sharafutdinov, Yusup Bekzhanov and Kerim Dovletgeldiyev excelled at the competition. Coaches Marina Divanova, Amir Torayev and Bayramgeldi Chulumbayev led the team to victory and podium finishes.

Holding such competitions plays an important role in preparing athletes for international competitions. Furthermore, they stimulate the development of handball at the national level and promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.
